National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Darrel Swift as an Executive of the Year Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

Cosmeceutical, has been selected as an Executive of the Year Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals. The selection recognizes Darrel Swift's commitment to excellence in Quality Management, Manufacturing, and Production.
Darrel Swift, who holds a BS in Zoology from Arizona State University and an MBA from Western International University, began his quality career in 1995 as a QC technician and line inspector for a small bottling manufacturer in Tempe, Arizona. He then worked for Coca Cola, Revlon and a variety of cosmetic, food, dietary supplement, and pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in positions ranging from lab analyst, QA engineer, analytical lab supervisor, quality manager, and, most recently, as the direct of quality for G. S. Cosmeceutical in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Now responsible for the planning and directing of all quality policies, programs, and initiatives, Mr. Swift also oversees all corporate quality functions, reviews and approves corrective/preventive actions, performs supplier quality assurance audits, maintains a quality assessment system to monitor corporate objectives or regulatory compliance, and much more. His 19-plus years of experience working in various types of manufacturing industries has helped him significantly in his current role and has since earned numerous certifications, including: ASQ quality auditor; project and risk management; cGMP and regulatory compliance; and FDA compliance.
"I am constantly inspired by surrounding myself with successful people who are driven to go beyond their own expectations and goals, while maintaining high levels of moral and ethical standards," Mr. Swift said. Hoping to begin working on his Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Global Business and Leadership soon, Mr. Swift is excited about the future of his career in manufacturing. He is a member of the American Society for Quality, Lean Enterprise Institute, Southwest Alliance for Excellence, and Regulatory Affairs Professional Society. He is also the recipient of numerous awards throughout his career, including a 2012 Isagenix Outstanding Performance Award for Quality Leadership, Compliance, and Dedication.
