National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Luke Lafreniere as a Professional of the Year Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

- (1888PressRelease) February 26, 2014 - Luke Lafreniere, Founder of SinCan Petroleum of Canada, has been selected as a Professional of the Year Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals. The selection recognizes Luke Lafreniere's commitment to excellence in Oil and Gas.
Luke Lafreniere first ventured into global energy in the fall of 2009 when the nuclear reactor in Ontario was down at Choc Rivers and the federal government wanted to search for a nuclear component to restart their nuclear power plant. It also presented Mr. Lafreniere with an opportunity to journey into the commodities trade business. Without any formal training of this complex technology, he dove right in and took a chance by forming SinCan Petroleum that same year.
As founder of his organization, Mr. Lafreniere's responsibility is really simple: to make the pole between a real refinery and a real end-user of energy. To do this, however, is quite difficult, as he explains that more than 99% of internet inquiries inside the virtual commodities energy business brokering trade is fraudulent. Mr. Lafreniere's goals are broken down daily to close one successful oil and gas transaction.
"This is my job responsibility every working day, to track, push, try, and possibly close one successful transaction," Mr. Lafreniere explained. "Thankfully, I learned at the age of 19 the skills of sales and closing negotiations, which helps.
Goals for 2014 include SinCan Petroleum landing their first oil and gas contract. Very close to accomplishing that goal, Mr. Lafreniere also hopes to make his business more well known to the oil and gas market in Canada and become recognized by the National Oil Government organization and members of OPEC. He also hopes to soon be able to supply Russian, Libyan, Nigerian, and Middle-East Oil and Gas to major worldwide refineries and to several major companies such as ExxonMobil, Shell, BP, and Valero.
Mr. Lafreniere holds a license in project management through the University of UQO and has taken various other courses across three universities on varied topics.
