National Association of Distinguished Professionals Selects Joseph Petrich as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Online Registry

- Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) October 09, 2013 - Having recently earned the Minnesota Executive of the Year Award in 2013 through his company, Activar, Inc., CFO Joseph Petrich began working for the organization in 1997 as the general manager of the plastics division. Eight years later, in 2005, and coinciding with a change of ownership, Mr. Petrich was promoted to chief financial officer and all of its subsidiary and sister companies.
Beginning his venture in manufacturing in 1980, Mr. Petrich has been fortunate enough to work for a total of three vestment capitalists throughout out his career, including Frank W. Griswold, Richard "Pinky" McNamara, and Jim Reissner, saying, "These individuals combined have owned over 100 companies during their lives, giving me a unique perspective on how to acquire, instill change, and run companies. When integrating new companies, it is a challenge to blend new cultures while merging policies, procedures, and processes together in a timely and organized fashion. I have gained significant knowledge in this area and consider myself an expert as a change agent."
Born and raised on a small dairy farm in central Minnesota, Mr. Petrich learned good work ethic and hands-on skills at an early age. He enjoys learning how things are made and finding ways to make them with higher quality or more efficiently. He also loves the challenges of building products and managing operations.
With the hopes of continuing to learn and grow in his field, Mr. Petrich plans to stay on top of technological changes used in manufacturing and business administration.
