Nashville Church of Scientology Imbues Creativity Into the Culture
The Church of Scientology and Celebrity Centre Nashville hosted a piano concert Sunday after its service.
- (1888PressRelease) July 24, 2012 - Sunday afternoon was a special and relaxing time at the Church of Scientology in Nashville. "We are blessed to have many talented parishioners and friends who came together and played music after service," says Pastor Brian Fesler.
According to Rev. Fesler, hosting amazing talent is normal activity for his church. "We are a Celebrity Centre, which is unique - there are only four in the country," Fesler noted, "We are specially suited to help artists."
Fesler says that not only is it part of the mission of the Church of Scientology & Celebrity Centre Nashville to help the artist, but that Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard "often wrote about the importance of the artist in society. The artist leads us into the future with vision and dreams."
In a book written in 1951 titled Science of Survival, Hubbard wrote: "A culture is only as great as its dreams and its dreams are dreamed by artists."
"Artists are people who give the culture life and make it meaningful. It makes sense that church should be a place for artists to become invigorated and uplifted, and that's exactly what our church is all about," says Rev. Fesler.
