Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation Announces Post Graduate Scholarships For 2011 - 2012
The Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship is a merit-based loan scholarship awarded to students wishing to pursue their post graduate studies from prestigious universities in India and abroad.
- (1888PressRelease) January 09, 2011 - The Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship for Higher Studies is a merit-based loan scholarship awarded to Indian students who wish to pursue post graduate studies at prestigious universities in India and abroad, in the fields of Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Law, Architecture and Management.
In previous years, the scholars have been admitted to some of the leading institutions in the world, including the IIM's and ISB; the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, London, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Stanford and Berkeley; the London School of Economics, the London Business School, INSEAD and MIT, among others. The courses pursued by the scholars show a rich diversity in terms of subjects and specialization ranging from immunogenetics, financial engineering, sustainable development, architecture, microbial biology, public health, organic chemistry, audiological science, civil laws, economics, regenerative medicine and stem cells to engineering and management.
A unique feature of this scholarship programme is the mentoring process which is built into it wherein each scholar is assigned a mentor in their special field to guide them in their development as professionals. This nurtures their professional growth and ensures that these scholars achieve excellence in their chosen fields grooming them to become leaders and entrepreneurs in their field.
Indian nationals who have graduated from recognized Indian universities, are below 30 years of age and are looking to pursue their PG studies during 2011 - 2012 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The last date for submission of the form which must be complete in all respects is 18th March 2011.
