Session Details:
Emotional Intelligence: Active Insights Towards Achieving Success and STAYING There
Knowing how to use your access, influence and power can propel you to your next opportunity or add gravitas to your current role. Dr. Priscilla Douglas, Executive Coach and Author of Getting There & Staying There, believes that having access and using access can be miles apart, and the access you have does you no good if you don't take advantage of it. The more you use your access and influence, the more they will grow. Interactive takeaways: 1. Understand practical tools to raise your own Emotional Intelligence for a prolonged, strong career. 2. Discover the powerful questions that you should ask (but, unfortunately, don't) at the right time to accelerate your professional development and career success.
Competitive Intelligence: Applying What You Already Know How to Do
Women and men are likely to approach competitive intelligence differently. In this session, we'll discuss three areas where women can leverage what they already know how to do and do well for the benefits of personal competitive intelligence. We'll discuss and explore how to challenge orthodoxies that stand in your way, be more creative problem solvers and make better decisions by avoiding common bias traps.
