NAPEEF, MNSCU, and Scholarix Partner to Develop a Custom e-Learning Course From NAPEEF's Educational Equity Curriculum
In continuing to bring its educational equity curriculum online, the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity Education Foundation (NAPEEF) and Scholarix e-Learning Solutions (Scholarix Inc.) have begun production on a second e-Learning course to serve the teachers and college faculty through the Minnesota System of Colleges and Universities.
- (1888PressRelease) June 23, 2013 - In continuing to bring its educational equity curriculum online, the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity Education Foundation (NAPEEF) and Scholarix e-Learning Solutions (Scholarix Inc.) have begun production on a second e-Learning course to serve the teachers and college faculty through the Minnesota System of Colleges and Universities.
This 1-1.5 hour course will be geared towards incumbent teachers and faculty that serve students in career and technical education programs and will provide an overview of effective strategies for achieving equity in education. The online resource will cover four broad topic areas: (1) Research related to equity in education, with a particular focus on how to engage under-represented students in classes and programs; (2) Strategies to engage diverse learners in the classroom; (3) building the case for paying attention to equity and learning equity strategies; and (4) overview of equity in career and technical education.
The Scholarix developed course will be an interactive, self-paced, asynchronous e-learning resource and should be made available September 1, 2013
