- (1888PressRelease) June 21, 2011 - WASHINGTON, D.C.- The The National Association of Online Academic Assessors (NAOAA) is pleased to announce the recipients of its annual Association Awards for outstanding contributions to online academics and their students.
NAOAA Association Awards recognize the tremendous efforts made by trustees, equity programs, chief executive officers, faculty members, and professional board staff members. Those recognized at the national level received regional-level recognition in their respective categories earlier in the year.
The regional-level awardees were the sole contenders for the national-level NAOAA Association Awards in their respective categories. The NAOAA Association Awards were announced during the NAOAA Awards on September 15 at the Sheraton Centre Washington, DC.
The NAOAA Association Awards are among the most prestigious awards in distance learning, its trustees, presidents, faculty, or staff member can receive," said NAOAA Chair and Almeda University's Trustee Dr. Ken Sedwick. It is NAOAA's privilege to shine the spotlight on these outstanding leaders.
2010 has been a remarkable year for community college leadership, said NAOAA President and CEO J. Noah Brown. The individuals and colleges recognized by these awards have made extraordinary contributions to their colleges and American higher education overall. NAOAA is proud to be able to recognize these outstanding individuals through our annual awards program.
