NANOG On The Road Comes to Raleigh, NC April 12, 2016 and Denver, CO May 10, 2016
One-Day Programs Offer Professional Education and Networking Opportunities for Internet Professionals, Students and Individuals Interested in Network Operations.
- (1888PressRelease) March 23, 2016 - ANN ARBOR, MI - The North American Network Operators' Group (NANOG) is pleased to announce two upcoming NANOG On The Road events, to be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Embassy Suites Raleigh Durham Research Triangle in Cary, North Carolina, and at the Denver Marriott Westminster in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Registration for both events is free and includes education-based programs offering attendees the opportunity to hear from industry leaders through tutorials and local content related to network operations. Networking opportunities among industry veterans and budding professionals will also be available.
NANOG On The Road programs include a series of informational sessions covering everything from technical services, the status of IPv6 adoption, current registry policy, to developments and hot topics in Internet governance. The programs also feature an open Q&A session for attendees to ask about any of the day's presentations as well as learn more about NANOG.
Both NANOG On The Road events will be held from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and feature post-event receptions which conclude at 6:30 PM. There is no fee to attend; however, registration is required to reserve a seat.
