EL SEGUNDO, California - NameDrop, a one-click form-filling app, has announced a successful completion of its first round of trials with bridal expos in Southern California.
A handful of bridal shows were selected to feature NameDrop, and show attendees used the app to more quickly share their details with vendors, who received accurate info and did not have to retype anything into their CRM systems.
Bridal show attendees tapped their phone to beacons, and their details auto-populated a form, saving them time and allowing the info to shared sent at the press of a button.
By enabling a faster exchange of information between bridal show attendees and vendors, the testing achieved its goals, according to NameDrop founder and CEO Stephen Van de Wetering.
"The brides and businesses loved it" said Van de Wetering, "It was a successful trial and we're ready for that next step."
Part of the next step includes educating others on the benefits of filling out forms on a smartphone and why it's preferred over filling out forms by hand. The repetitive nature of filling out forms by hand is "totally unnecessary," according to the NameDrop founder and CEO.

With the first stage of trials complete, NameDrop will maintain a presence with bridal expos while expanding its use cases.
