NAIOP NJ To Hold Third Annual Gala Design Competition

Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) November 06, 2010 - NAIOP New Jersey's Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala, one of the top networking events of the year, honors the best of the commercial real estate industry. For the 2011 Gala, NAIOP New Jersey, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, will showcase original work by a talented designer on the cover of the Gala Journal and throughout the event.

The winning design will also be translated into the overall theme and décor of the event: It will define the color scheme, lighting and staging, and will be the template for marketing materials, signs, invitations, cocktail napkins, linens and the PowerPoint Awards Presentation.

The competition is open to NAIOP New Jersey members and non-members (age 18 and older), who are design professionals, as well as students studying art, architecture and design. Originality is highly valued. The deadline for entries is December 30, 2010 at 5 p.m. Entries not conforming to contest rules will be disqualified. Decision of the judges is final.

The winning designer will receive: a framed copy of the 2011 Gala Journal Cover, ½ page space in the Journal to profile the winning artist/firm, one ticket to the 2011 Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala and $500 cash in the form of a check made payable to the winning designer (total value of prize approximately $2,000). In addition, the winning design and designer will be featured in a news release and in NAIOP New Jersey Chapter publications.

The 24th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala is considered one of the top networking events of the year and attracts a crowd of more than 600 real estate professionals. The Gala honors those who have a long and distinguished record of service to the industry and the community.
