NAIOP NJ Held Annual Jeffrey J. Siegel Golf Classic
The Renowned Ridgewood Country Club Hosted Commercial Real Estate's Premier Golf Outing.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2010 - Nearly 150 avid golfers teed it up for NAIOP New Jersey's Jeffrey J. Siegel Golf Classic at the renowned Ridgewood Country Club, which just three weeks prior had hosted the prestigious Barclay's Golf Tournament featuring the world's top professionals. Named in memory of the long-time Murray Construction Co. executive and NAIOP New Jersey member, the day-long event featured a luncheon and golf clinic, and finished with a 19th hole cocktail reception and dinner.
"It was just a tremendous day, everything from the gorgeous weather to the friendly competition and networking," said Patrick Eichner of The Walsh Company, who co-chairs NAIOP New Jersey's Golf Committee with Doug Ewertsen of Wells Fargo Insurance Services. "A great time was had by all who participated."
On the competitive side of the day's activities, the coveted Visceglia Cup for top foursome was garnered by Bob Streko, Rob Roselli, Jim Paterson, and Ted Brennan. In second place was the foursome of Robert Andersen, Craig Davenport, John Harrison, and Jeff Toia. Longest Drive honors went to Ed Walsh, Chris Carr and Jon Lefkowitz, and Closest to the Pin awards went to Ron Simoncini, George Reilly and Paul Rosen.
First place Team Callaway winners were Timothy Comerford, Michael Kopelman, Ed Walsh, and Eric Witmondt. Second place was awarded to Richard Branca, Lee Miller, Mark Softy and Robert Wilson; third place honors went to Lance Kulick, George Livanos, Peter Schapira and Eric Stone; and fourth place was accorded to Jim Knowles, Tony Locarro, Geoffrey Schubert and Glenn Stock.
"The competition is always a fun part of this event," said Golf Committee co-chair Doug Ewertsen. "Golf is relaxing by nature, but the competitive aspect of this outing allows all of us to feel as though we're 'on tour' for one day at least."
