Those potential changes will be the focus of discussion at a special seminar slated by NAIOP New Jersey, the commercial real estate development association. This important event will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at The Heldrich in New Brunswick.

    "Incentives enacted under the New Jersey Economic Opportunity Act of 2013 will be game-changers," said Michael McGuinness, CEO of NAIOP New Jersey. "More projects in more areas will be eligible, and there are incentives for both developers and tenants."

    The program will include a briefing on action in Trenton, the latest on COAH fees, redevelopment reform, liquor license reform, court decisions vis-à-vis property owners, and what lies ahead in the legislature following the upcoming elections. Speakers will include Assemblyman Albert Coutinho (D-Essex County), Tim Lizura of the NJ EDA, Michael Seeve of Mountain Development Corp. and current chapter president, Gil Medina of CBRE, Anthony Pizzutillo of Smith Pizzutillo, Ted Zangari of Sills Cummis & Gross, Anthony Perno of the Coopers Ferry Partnership, Meryl Gonchar of Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis, Neil Rivers of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, and Clark Machemer of The Rockefeller Group.
