MyBinding.com Partners with ACCO Brands to Distribute New Swingline Stack-and-Shred Series
MyBinding.com, a division of Information Management Services, is now selling the revolutionary Stack-and-Shred series paper shredders from Swingline.
- (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2012 - HILLSBORO, OR - MyBinding.com, a growing Inc. 5000 company, is now offering a fresh new style of paper shredding machines by Swingline, the all-new Stack-and-Shred series.
MyBinding.com had a great year in 2011 with impressive growth and placement on Inc. Magazine's list of the 5000 fastest growing private companies in America. A key component in their success is the consistent addition of new products to their website. In January, they partnered with Acco Brands to begin selling the latest line of Swingline paper shredders, the Stack-and-Shred series.
"We are really excited to offer the Stack-and-Shred machines," said Jeff McRitchie, MyBinding.com's Vice President of Marketing. "They are different from any other paper shredders we carry and offer a unique shredding experience."
The first Stack-and-Shred model, the 100X, was one of the first shredders to successfully automate paper shredding by allowing the user to insert up to 100 sheets of 20lb paper into the hopper and leave while the shredder did the work. With positive reactions to the 100X, Swingline expanded the Stack-and-Shred line to include both larger and smaller models, appealing to a wider customer base.
Swingline falls under the umbrella of Acco Brands. Known as ABD on the New York Stock Exchange, Acco has been enjoying a banner year, with consistently increasing stocks over the last four months. Other well-known brands that are a part of Acco Brands in addition to Swingline include GBC, Daytimer, Kensington, and Wilson Jones.
Swingline is probably best known for high quality staplers and other small office supply items. However, Swingline has jumped into the shredder industry with both feet after introducing these revolutionary new shredders. The Stack-and-Shred line offers faster, easier shredding that let a user load the feed and walk away.
"The Stack-and-Shred machines are highly convenient to have in a busy office," said McRitchie. "It's more efficient to place a large stack of papers into the machine and let it do the work for you."
Stack-and-Shred machines all offer a level three security rating and have a minimum of a one year manufacturer's warranty; larger devices have longer warranty coverage. Their names tell the number of sheets they can accept at once - 60X, 80X, 100X, etc. Each device also offers a manual bypass for the infrequent shredding of oversized documents and thicker paper stocks and can also handle staples, paper clips, and credit cards. The 250X and 500X models, the largest two of the Stack-and-Shred line, provide the additional benefit of a slot for the shredding of CDs.
