- (1888PressRelease) April 22, 2012 - Jupiter, FL - April, 22 2012 Earth Day is a time that people from around the globe join together in appreciation of Mother Earth. Earth Day also marks a significant day as myBIGearth celebrates the second anniversary of their "Compassion in Action" program and online presence.
The history of myBIGearth however, runs much longer. In fact, myBIGearth has been assembling their team of personal and environmental evolutionists since 2004. While in 2006, the team that was designed to 'promote and recreate positive change' agreed upon the name of myBIGearth.
In 2011, myBIGearth expanded upon their awareness and information sharing platform by launching their 'Compassion in Action' program. This program includes representing products and services at the SAME if not BETTER price; HOWEVER, with every purchase, myBIGearth donates 40% of the profits to charities.
"Like most, we just wanted to help as many people as possible. What was needed was a simple way for people to contribute to the solution," says Stacey Stockman, Founder and President of myBIGearth.
The myBIGearth Store includes products ranging from beauty, food, books, music, to supplements and fashion. In order to allow users the best shopping experience, the company is constantly expanding their alliances, products and services available.
The "Compassion in Action" program has resulted in myBIGearth working with over 700 homeless shelters nationwide, as well as villages in the remote regions around the world by providing food, shelter and even toys to children in need. In supporting job creation, myBIGearth provides financial assistance as well as advisement to those innovators whose products and services promote positive change and growth. In short, myBIGearth's mission is to continue to expand their partnerships and alliances to help more children in need and to get Americans back to work.
If you are interested in being a part of helping others, outside of purchasing products or services, you can also donate to their 'Compassion in Action' program by becoming a myBIGearth member, sponsor or by giving a general donation.
