My Yard, the UK's first online waste management system for skip hire companies, MRF, WTS and scrap metal processers announced that CH Middleton is using My Yard to provide its customers with instant reporting; and My Yard also revealed the latest enhancements to its software at this year's RWM show.
My Yard helps to reduce paperwork, simplify reporting and comply with increasing regulation. Waste management and skip hire firms of all sizes from one-man bands to companies with over 20 wagons are already benefitting from My Yard's easy-to-use internet interface, all-inclusive pricing, sophisticated reporting tools including simplified reporting for site waste management plans, constant updates, and availability anytime, anywhere.
My Yard working with CH Middleton to keep customers informed
CH Middleton skip hire, waste disposal and recycling firm, based in Doncaster, is now using My Yard's customer interface to provide instant access to sophisticated online reporting which tracks information such as weight and grade of loads picked up or the recyclables recovered.
Following a switch to My Yard after using on premise software for 12 years, CH Middleton is now providing its customers with a secure login to a bespoke dashboard, where they can check their reports immediately, without having to wait until the end of the month. Here they can also print their own weight reports, invoices and receive updates on current orders.
Guy Middleton, Technical Sales Director & COTC Licence Holder, from CH Middleton said: "My Yard's fool-proof reports are a hit with our customers, who can access information on their yards remotely at any time. My Yard's hosted service removes the headache and expense of backups and complicated software updates. We receive instant, free updates and the My Yard team are continuously improving the software, which is a bonus for us, as we get the latest functionality immediately and are now working with an intuitive system backed by a dedicated team."
New apps and functionality are now available on mobile devices
My Yard launched its 'Compliance and Site Waste Management Plan App' so waste management companies can quickly and accurately capture the percentages of different waste categories in a skip as it's emptied. The information captured on the mobile version automatically updates the back office system. The waste producer can then access the reports they need for their Site Waste Management Plans 24/7.
Other new mobile functionality enables My Yard users to easily retrieve customer information, typical spends and tonnage reports while on the road. Accessing this information via a mobile device ensures that My Yard users can be fully informed about the customers they are visiting. Gavin Elliott, Commercial Trader, from J Doyle is already using this functionality and comments: "I am on the road all day and need to be fully informed. My Yard provides access to important data on my desktop, laptop and mobile, so I am always up-to-date."
New online skip booking system
My Yard has launched a sophisticated new booking system for its clients to accept skip bookings via their websites. Unlike other booking systems, which simply generate an email to sales, the new system allows booking and payment online and feeds directly into the My Yard back office, ensuring that a skip order enters the company's work flow immediately, so no need for the team to re-enter any information.
My Yard is also celebrating its FIFTH birthday at RWM. Founded in September 2006, My Yard has developed and introduced the UK's first online waste management software to a sector that was used to pen and paper, spread sheets or traditional on premise based software to manage their waste businesses. While My Yard started in the North West with customers like Kenny Waste Management, it now has clients across the country through word of mouth referrals and attending events such as RWM.
