He grew up listening to his immediate and extended family playing musical instruments and singing were part of his upbringing. He knew from an early age this is what he wanted to pursue. He writes his own songs and raps from his heart. His lyrics vary from love, racism, discrimination, poverty, and freedom. In his new video "Rolling" you get a taste of the traditional African music.
NazB's music video "Rolling" is a unique one. Instead of the typical rap music video where everything is glamorous, this video is taken on the streets. It gives the essence of a poorer country and how people all gather together.
In the video there is a set of young boys dancing to the beat of the song. It looks like their moves but it could have a special meaning behind them. The video shows NazB and Ben 7 with the locals of the town; it shows community and that music brings people together. The music is of a different sort because it has some of that African music mixed with the modern music of rap/hip-hop and you can dance to it. The song has another voice besides NazB; there is the rapper Ben 7 who contributes to this song.
With Ben 7's input to the song, it serves a better tune than just the rap. Ben 7's verse and chorus help make the song enjoyable and danceable.
