Music Website Songeist.com Announces Follow Friday Blog Series
Music distribution website and music community Songesit.com loves the twitter tradition of #Follow Fridays. "For those of you not au-fait with the Social Media world" they say on their blog, "this is a weekly opportunity for the music community (or non music community) to recommend and 'big-up' people in the twittosphere whose updates you follow.

In this spirit Songeist.com have decided to run a 'Friday Follow' segment on their our own blog where they highlight new bands and new music that have been added to the music community throughout the week. "It's all about new music and new bands! We can help you learn how to promote a band," they say." On the full site you will be able to listen to music, discover new bands and new music, sell music online, sell audio samples and download music.
The current pre-launch site at www.songeist.com is only a taster of what is to come with Songeist.com's exciting music website. The full site will be packed full of tools and functions to help new bands and fans really get involved in the new music scene as it is now: hence The Spirit of Music.
The pre-launch site acts as a promotional page for both the upcoming website and for their Founder Artists, who's new music "excites and inspires" them to "believe in our vision of where Songeist is heading." It's going to be the new big thing in music distribution and a head above all other music websites!
They have had a great response and already have so many talented artists on Songeist.com. There are new bands joining every day! NEW ON SONGEIST.com THIS WEEK:
NEW BANDS: The Invisible Gentry are a 5 piece Vintage Pop band from South London fronted by singer, Enza Durban. Influenced by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Kate Bush, Sigur Ros, Pink Floyd, and many others, the band strive to write eclectic music that tells wonderful and beautiful or sometimes harrowing stories. The band are currently gigging in and around London and looking to secure Radio play, reviews etc for their latest set of recordings, Little Sparrow EP and Winter Blue single.
NEW BANDS: The Frescaders are 4 piece alternative rock band formed in Canterbury, England at the University of Kent. Citing influences from alternative British rockers, Arctic Monkeys and The Libertines they are packed with energy and catchy riffs. The Frescaders have played numerous successful gigs around London and following this in April 2012, The Frescaders EP was released containing 4 tracks, including single 'Can't Explain'.
NEW MUSIC: Jesper Sørensen from Copenhagen, musician since 1976 and plays a range of instruments guitar, piano, bass and keyboard. He has played in several bands and also appeared on national radio in Denmark. His music is mixed Guitar, Piano and electronic ambient chill out. He has since 2007 made 4 albums: A new time, Origin, Twilight and The world of electron. Currently working on The Inner Voice.
NEW MUSIC: Matt Woods is a singer songwriter originally from Cornwall. Matt is now based in London where he has just released his debut EP named 'Icarus'. Drawing from the likes of Mumford and Sons, Ray LaMontagne and Paulo Nutini, Matt is focused on creating a selection of acoustic soul tracks that reflect his journey thus far. Speaking of his debut EP Matt said: "Whilst recording the EP I've worked with several people who have been behind great artists with longevity and integrity."
NEW MUSIC: Olly B has worked in countless bands since he can remember. Previously a member of In Frequency, known to guest perform with bands like Sonic Book Six, and a member of State Recall for two years, he is versatile and unique in his delivery of melody and lyrics. Talented as a guitarist, vocalist, and composer, he has produced a number of tracks for television and for film alike. Currently going solo, Olly B is focusing on releases entirely of his own development, promising audiences something well rounded, beautifully manifested and complete.
