Municipality of Hersonissos & Creta Maris Beach Resort celebrating the World Tourism Day rewarded the guests who choose, for many years, Hersonissos and Creta Maris as their holiday destination.

The festivity took place on September 27th during an event organized by the Municipality of Hersonissos in Euangelistrias' Square. Apart from this event, the municipality of Hersonissos organized a lot of festivities, such as photography exhibition entitled "Island tour - seamen's land", free tours with the "Happy train", free entrance and guiding at the Agricultural Museum "M. Parlamas", free entrance at the Archeological Site of the Minoan Palace of Malia, 50% discount at the Agriculture and Rural Life Museum "Lychnostatis" in Hersonissos, groups with traditional dances and music and finally pebble-painting workshops for visitors.
