Both country and pop fans can reminiscence as they listen to this talented pianist and popular singer perform all of his 40 number one hits. Milsap, who is blind, has a versatile style of music that has endeared him to a generation of fans. Milsap grew up in the mountains of North Carolina where he was influenced by music genres such as gospel, rhythm and blues and classical. His music career took-off when he moved to Nashville 40 years ago. To date, he has sold more than 35 million albums. Some of his major hit songs include Please Don't Tell Me How the Story Ends, (I'm A) Stand By My Woman Man, (There's) No Gettin Over Me, Smokey Mountain Rain, and Lost in the Fifties Tonight. Along with his hits, Milsap has won six Grammy awards, four Academy of Country Music awards and eight Country Music Academy awards. In January 2014, Milsap will release his latest album entitled Summer #17.
