MU'factory studio wins the 1st place in the international competition "A' Design Award" winning the Platinum in " Art, Crafts and Design Ready-Made " category.
- (1888PressRelease) June 30, 2011 - With the Trans line, home accessories made of silicone, MU'factory studio wins the 1st place in the international competition "A' Design Award" winning the Platinum in " Art, Crafts and Design Ready-Made " category.
In Trans project the home accessory is seen as object-sculpture crossing the thin line between art and design. Objects created stir up contrasting feelings: they look like static but they become tender, elastic and mobile if touched; they start to vibrate and wave unexpectedly. Each creation is handmade as unique or limited edition.
The soft silicone objects will be awarded during the gala night organized in Villa Gallia, in the beautiful scenery of Como lake, on 1st July. The next day there will be the opening of the exhibition with all the winning projects at Spazio Natta (Via Natta 18, Como, Italy) at 18.00. The exhibition will be open until July 24.
