The HITECH "Meaningful Use" Bonuses
Under the HITECH Act, healthcare providers can collect incentive bonuses in excess of $44,000 if they can demonstrate "meaningful use" of an EHR. Eventually, providers that fail to meet the requirements of "meaningful use" will become subject to penalties under the Act.
MTBC continues to educate its clients and other healthcare professionals on "meaningful use" through its free, EHR-focused webinar series. MTBC also works closely with its clients to assist in the implementation of its proprietary EHR and to ensure that they are using the EHR in a manner that will qualify them for the bonuses available under the Act. The company is committed to providing not only a certified EHR solution, but also a high level of personal support to ensure that its clients understand exactly how to use MTBC EMR 4.0 to achieve "meaningful use."
