MSG Marketing Applauds Kenneth Branagh Who Has Been Nominated For Oscar
Belfast actor Kenneth Branagh has been nominated for an Oscar. The managing director of MSG Marketing comments saying, 'this is great news as he is originally from Northern Ireland.

The nomination in the best supporting actor category is for his portrayal of Laurence Olivier in My Week With Marilyn, which tells the story of the fraught relationship between the legendary British actor and Marilyn Monroe.
Branagh, 51, is in the running for best supporting actor for his performance as Sir Laurence Olivier in Marilyn Monroe biopic My Week With Marilyn.He said: "It was a rare honour to play Sir Laurence Olivier. To be recognised by the Academy for doing so is overwhelming. I'm absolutely thrilled."
Belfast film-maker Terry George has also had his movie 'The Shore' nominated in the best short film category. Starring Ciaran Hinds, The Shore tells the story of a man who immigrated to America 25 years ago to escape the Troubles and is now returning to Northern Ireland with his daughter. MSG Marketing planted their roots here in Belfast with their head office based in the city centre. 'This city has so much potential, and it is all down to the people in Northern Ireland. We could have set up anywhere in the UK but we chose Belfast to be our hub for a number of reasons. The nominations for the 84th Academy Awards were announced in Beverly Hills by actress Jennifer Lawrence and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Tom Sherak.
