MSE Throws Its Support Behind Family Day To Celebrate Buying British
Did you know that Britain makes laboratory equipment used in hospitals around the world? First established in 1936, London-based laboratory equipment manufacturer MSE will join forces with other hardworking British businesses at the British Family Fayre in Westerham Kent on 31st August to show that Britain still makes high quality, affordable products in every sector.
- (1888PressRelease) August 09, 2013 - British family business, MSE, is one of a small number of manufacturers remaining in London, and is the only UK-based manufacturer of centrifuges - a laboratory equipment item essential for many commercial and medical purposes such as separating the components of blood in blood banks.
Export Manager Alex Henderson said the Fayre - which is being organised by the Bradshaw family who recently attracted media attention by challenging themselves to only buy British for one whole year - would be a show of strength for UK enterprises.
"MSE is a family business, and we always proudly fly the British flag in our sector supplying centrifuges and other laboratory products to laboratories across the world," said Mr Henderson.
"We're looking forward to attending the British Family Fayre as one of the exhibitors in the Medical and Science category to show our support for UK manufacturing and to demonstrate that our British-made products are of the highest quality and synonymous with reliability and ease of use.
"The event is free, will be attended by UK manufacturers from a range of different sectors such as food and drink, clothing and electronics, and fittingly, will be held at the former home of Winston Churchill. We invite everyone to join us in raising awareness of UK manufacturing, showing that our country can still lead the world in the goods we produce."
The British Family Fayre will be held in Westerham, Kent on Saturday 31st August 2013 from 11am-6pm at Squerryes Court, Westerham, Kent, TN16 1SJ. It is approximately 10 minute walk to Westerham Green. Squerryes is 25 miles from London, sign posted from the A25, 10 minutes from Junction 5 or 6 of the M25.
