AJ Team Realty is looking to recruit fellow walkers and donations for the Walk MS Manassas 2015. Help is desperately needed; donations of ANY amount are welcome, even if it's just a dollar.

WHAT IS MS?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) involves an immune-mediated process in which an abnormal response of the body's immune system is directed against the central nervous system. It is unknown why this happens, making the cure difficult to find. Some of the consequences of this phenomenon are as follows:
The immune system attacks myelin - the fatty substance that surrounds and insulates the nerve fibers - as well as the nerve fibers themselves, in turn causing nerve damage.
The damaged myelin forms scar tissue (sclerosis).
When any part of the myelin sheath or nerve fiber is damaged or destroyed, nerve impulses traveling to and from the brain and spinal cord are distorted or interrupted, producing a wide variety of symptoms.
The disease is thought to be triggered in a genetically susceptible individual by a combination of one or more environmental factors.
People with MS typically experience one of four disease courses, which can be mild, moderate or severe.

WHAT CAN BE DONE TO HELP?
MS is a disease that hits close to home for the AJ Team. AJ and other team members have both family and friends who have gone through this terrible struggle, and we want to do something to change the lives of those who have and will go through this same challenge.

Why?: The AJ Team goal is to Walk in the Manassas 2015 MS Walk and raise $3k for the MS Society in the names of everyone we know that is battling this challenge.
When?: May 16th at 9:00am at Harris Pavilion in Manassas.
