Mr. Xavier Augustin, CEO Y-Axis felicitates 'TiE Young Entrepreneurs' award winners
The CEO of Y-Axis Overseas Careers Mr. Xavier Augustin felicitated the TiE Hyderabad 8th edition 'TiE Young Entrepreneurs' award winners. In this season, 31 students from 12 leading schools in Hyderabad formed 6 teams. They pitched their innovative solutions in the competition.

In this season, 31 students from 12 leading schools in Hyderabad formed 6 teams. They pitched their innovative solutions in the competition.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Augustin said that TiE Hyderabad project is a big encouragement for the next generation youth. They can hone the life skills essential for facing future challenges. It will equip them to offer straightforward solutions instead of them just getting disturbed by issues, he added.
Mr. Augustin extolled TiE Hyderabad for their eighth consecutive competition. This offers a platform to the students for showcasing their ideas for business, said the CEO.
CEO of Brightcom & President of TiE Hyderabad Suresh Reddy said that entrepreneurship is all about risk-taking and the determination to make it successful. Students are adopting it fearlessly in their early stage of life and this is delighting. Each one who reached the final pitches is a winner already, said Reddy.
Carbonation Hyderabad Student Team was declared the winner by TiE Hyderabad for Charcoholism their business idea. It is a unique solution that addresses the ill effects of the consumption of alcohol. They won the TYE 2018-19: TiE Young Entrepreneurs Award. The runner-up was Team Pentadactyl for B-plan WarnCup. It is a warning system with an intelligent sensor that detects beverages/food for temperature prior to their consumption.
The 8th edition of TiE Hyderabad was launched by TYE in October 2018. Totally 79 students from twenty schools had submitted applications. A batch of 31 students was selected for undergoing meticulous curriculum on entrepreneurship as well as other business topics in twelve sessions. It included 3 sessions for team mentoring as well as an innovation challenge in the grand finale held on 20 January 2019.
The participants had interaction with several veteran entrepreneurs from TiE Organization during the TYE course.
