Moulin Rouge Brings Renowned French Glamour to New York City Just in Time for the BEST OF FRANCE Festival
Legendary French Cabaret Made Landmark Voyage into New York City via Air France.

The historic French cabaret dancers arrived in head-to-toe matching ensembles-even with matching luggage-to kick of the festivities for the upcoming BEST OF FRANCE festival in Time Square, taking place on September 26 and 27. Thus far, the Moulin Rouge has hit Good Morning New York for a dazzling performance. They are set to commence a frenzy of coverage prior to the celebration organized by the New York French Community in partnership with many other prominent organizations. BEST OF FRANCE (http://www.bestoffrance.org/) will be expecting thousands of visitors from around the world to help celebrate over the weekend. Attending is free, and festival goers can openly walk the grounds as well as enjoy Moulin Rouge performances and fashion shows.

During their stay, The Moulin Rouge Dancers will be making various highlighted appearances at New York City landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building and Times Square. The French review is bringing "a Taste of Moulin Rouge", where dancers will present a condensed performance of 8 minutes, paying homage to their world famous Féerie and Cancan. The event will also showcase iconic costumes that have played key roles in the Moulin Rouge's long history during their fashion show. Jane Avril, La Goulue, Mistinguett, and Robe En Strass are amongst the lucky stars that helped set the opulent costume standards. These one of a kind Swarovski crystal encrusted garments being showcased during BEST OF FRANCE are estimated to cost upwards of $350,000 total. All costumes are handcrafted by Moulin Rouge's in house ateliers, from design to production. The Moulin Rouge will perform two live shows daily during the festival in Time Square, and will also host a daily Costume Fashion Show.
