Motability Top Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Award
Vehicle manufacturer, Allied Mobility, has scooped the award for best Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Partner for 2010.
- (1888PressRelease) August 07, 2010 - Allied Mobility, specialist vehicle manufacturer, has scooped the award for best Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Partner for 2010.
The announcement came at the fifth annual Supplier Awards, presented by Motability Operations, the company which operates the Motability Scheme throughout the UK.
Top Motability Accolade
The Motability Supplier Awards cover all areas of Motability Operations, recognising the people and businesses who deliver outstanding choice, excellence and customer satisfaction to over half a million Motability customers.
The Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle Partner accolade was one of 13 categories awarded at the event which took place on 16 July at Brocket Hall, in Hertfordshire, hosted by BBC newsreader Huw Edwards.
Wide Choice of Wheelchair Cars
Allied Mobility is part of the Allied Vehicles Group, which was established in 1993 and has grown to become the largest supplier of wheelchair accessible vehicles to the UK Motability Scheme. Allied now employs 350 people at their 250 acre manufacturing plant, which incorporates engineering, production and customer support facilities.
Working with a range of manufacturers like Peugeot, Citroen and Volkswagen, Allied offer a wide range of converted wheelchair accessible vehicles. The most recent additions to the range include the new automatic Renault Autograph and Citroen Presto. Allied Mobility also manufacture the best-selling Peugeot Horizon, which is the UK's most popular wheelchair car.
