Mosha Online Campaign goes up on Indiegogo
Mosha Online released an Indiegogo Campaign and we had the opportunity to talk with its creator!
- (1888PressRelease) March 19, 2017 - New Startup Company, Mosha Games announced today that it is raising funds via a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo (https://igg.me/p/2041428/) to finish the development of their unique Social Gaming Network and Online Game. The company is set out to raise $35,000 USD on Indiegogo to finish development and open their website and beta test their game.
"Mosha is a Social Gaming Network that helps you connect with friends, talk, design, socialize and even play..." said Hector Faudoa, creator of Mosha. He explained that Mosha Online is also an Online Multiplayer Game with Social and RPG features that helps you interact with your friends through a virtual space named "World of Dreams".
Faudoa is the creator of Mosha Online and a highly respected veteran of the gaming industry. He introduced to us the concept of Mosha and Mosha Online, and he followed that presentation with a behind closed-doors meeting this week, diving into the Online aspect of Mosha. Faudoa is adamant that social features are useful, necessary aspect to Mosha Online. He repeated the line, "social features in RPGs is a great thing".
"You don't need to download anything, no app is required and you can play on your PC, tablet, or mobile. I felt the only way to achieve this was creating an in-house engine using HTML5." Faudoa mentioned that the campaign will run for 45 days and is hoping to raise the money to help finish the development of the game.
"With Mosha, one of the primary targets is flawless interoperability between the Social Network and Mosha Online. In other words, one moment you could be fighting against some monster, and the other moment you could be writing about it in your wall, add the screenshot you took while fighting and your friends commenting at the same moment". Faudoa showed us how Photo Capture worked and how posting your screenshot on your Social Network took almost 5 seconds and it was in fact a great integration overall.
Faudoa then proceeded on explaining some of the mechanics of the Social Network. "There are several ways for obtaining Muns…", he said. "Muns are the virtual currency used in Mosha. You need Muns if you want to buy clothes, equipment and accessories." He showed us the process for obtaining Muns, which is really easy, as it is based on engagement. For example, if you like the comment of someone, you gain one mun, following someone will get you two muns, and posting something to your news with a photo you will get several muns. "What people need to know is that, you'll get pay with Muns for socializing, that is really cool".
Mosha also offers alternative methods for obtaining Muns. Mosha is offering a subscription option for as low as $ 4.99 USD per month which offers a convenient way to increase your exposure on the Social Network so you can increase your engagement faster. The subscription also offers better prices for the Marketplace.
"The campaign has gained early momentum…", he said, "there's a lot of passion on Mosha. I first started development of our engine in 2008 with Project Eden, and it really has been a long journey. I think I'm ready to ask help from the community. I believe there's power in gamers, and I want to believe the campaign will be successful." said Faudoa for his final words. You can check Mosha (moshaonline.com) at Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and of course, Indiegogo.
