Mosaic Storage Systems Announces $875,000 Series A Financing
Mosaic Storage Systems, an online service to aid Adobe Lightroom users, has received $875,000 in funding from Wasabi Ventures, eCoast Angel Network and 10x Venture Partners.
- Baltimore, MD (1888PressRelease) March 01, 2013 - Mosaic Storage Systems (www.MosaicArchive.com), a photo archival and access service for Adobe Lightroom users, today announced that it has completed their Series A funding of $875,000 led by Borealis Ventures. Backers in this round also include Wasabi Ventures, eCoast Angel Network and 10x Venture Partners. The company will use the funding to accelerate investments in sales and marketing, product development and engineering.

Mosaic helps passionate amateur and professional photographers enjoy their photography more by making digital asset management easier and more secure. The Mosaic technology includes a desktop tool to automatically backup a photographers Lightroom catalog to the cloud. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is the software of photo management and editing tool of choice for millions of serious photographers. The backed up photos are also available to access, show off and share from the Mosaic mobile App.
"Many of our customers have several terabytes of photos," says Andy Young, Mosaic Co-Founder and CTO. "There really wasn't a solution designed for the unique data needs of serious photographers. So we created it."
