A keen observer of daily life, Karl Wiegers realizes how everyday encounters can impart significant life lessons-if you're paying attention. Wiegers has been collecting these pearls of wisdom all of his life. After growing up on Air Force bases around the world, Wiegers landed in Boise, Idaho. He received a BS in Chemistry from Boise State College and MS and PhD degrees in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois. Wiegers spent eighteen years at Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York, before launching Process Impact, a software process consulting and training company based in Portland, Oregon, in 1997.
