Moolchand participates in the Delhi Mock Drill for disaster management
Moolchand actively participated in Delhi's one of the biggest coordinated mock drill on February 15, 2011 from 11:30 am onwards for checking the alertness and preparedness of emergency services at Moolchand Centre for Emergency and Urgent Care™ during the time of disaster like high magnitude earthquake.
- (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2012 - This mock drill is a part of the recent initiatives by Delhi government to increase capability of Delhi to face consequences arising from any disaster or calamity. National Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with Delhi Disaster Management Authority has organized this earthquake awareness exercise.
"At the time of a disaster, every second is very crucial in terms of saving the lives of casualties. Being a part of such an exercise makes an organization introspect into how well they are prepared to handle disaster emergency. It also highlights the various scopes for improvement which eventually would help when there is an actual disaster," says Dr. Madhu Handa, Medical Administrator, Moolchand Medcity.
