Moolchand is celebrating Patient Safety Awareness Week from March 4-10, 2012. This week long educational and awareness program aims to raise awareness of patient safety among our staff, patients and our community.
- (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2012 - Moolchand is celebrating Patient Safety Awareness Week from March 4-10, 2012. This week long educational and awareness program aims to raise awareness of patient safety among our staff, patients and our community.
Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual event with current year theme for the week "Be Aware for Safe Care" (as declared by National Patient Safety Foundation) and focuses on the need for everyone to understand the importance of patient safety and to recognize the range of efforts being made to improve health worldwide.

Patient Safety Awareness Week starts with plethora of activities distributing badges, posters and patient and family educational flyers throughout the hospital. During the week there will also be a number of special activities, including targeted educational outreach programs to our staff and our patients.
The other special activities include:
- Patient safety stories from Consultants
- Patient safety educational role play by nurses and house-keeping staff
- Quiz session on patient safety awareness among the staff members
