Monthly Tween and Teen Night Launched in North Stamford
Monthly tween and teen night brings youth together for an evening of movies, games and fun.
- Stamford-Norwalk, CT (1888PressRelease) November 07, 2011 - North Stamford Congregational Church presents Tween and Teen Night, a monthly event at the Stone House in Stamford, Connecticut. The event takes place every second Friday of the month and for special holiday events. Tweens and teens are invited to watch movies, play games, and hang out in a safe environment beginning at 7:00 p.m. There is no cost to attendees.
Tween and Teen Night offers a place for youth to come out and have fun with their peers on the second Friday of every month. North Stamford Congregational Church held the first Tween and Teen night on Friday, October 14 and the next scheduled event is on Friday, November 11 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The church strives to provide exciting opportunities for children after school and on the weekends.
Youth over the age of ten are welcome to attend. The free event is held across the street from the church in the Stone House, 31 Cascade Road, located two miles north of the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) in North Stamford, Connecticut.
In addition to the Tween and Teen gatherings, North Stamford Congregational Church recently launched free Zumba dance classes, storytelling for toddlers, a book club, and Bible study.
