Montgomery Sam's Club Hosts Chicago Bears' Legend Dan Hampton
NFL Hall of Famer to sign free autographs on July 11.
- Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) July 04, 2014 - Sam's Club and General Mills have announced that they will host a Member Appreciation event at the new Montgomery Sam's Club on Friday, July 11 from 4 - 6 p.m. As part of the day's celebration, Chicago Bears' Legendary Defensive Tackle Dan Hampton will meet with fans and sign free autographs at the Montgomery Sam's Club (1050 Ogden Ave.).
Hampton, also known as "Danimal," was an integral part of the Bears' Super Bowl XX championship team. His 12-year career with the Bears culminated with his selection to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002. A versatile defensive lineman, Hampton made All-Pro at both defensive end and defensive tackle. In 1990, he was the recipient of the George S. Halas Courage Award by the Pro Football Writers Association. Hampton was voted to the All-Century team of the University of Arkansas Football team and named one of the state of Arkansas' Top 50 greatest athletes in the 20th century.

Sam's Club will officially open its newest location in Montgomery on Thursday, July 10.
Sam's Club members and guests are welcomed and encouraged to visit the Montgomery location at any time throughout the day. Autographs are limited to one per person and are only guaranteed for the first 120 people in line, but he will sign more if time allows.
