Montessori Bilingual Academy Launches New Website and Name Change
After 16 years in business, continuing to foster a love of learning in a dual language environment.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2013 - Lucelis Torres today announced the name change from Montessori Bilingual Academy to Orlando Montessori Bilingual Academy as well as the launch of their new website. For over 16 years, Orlando Montessori Bilingual Academy (OMBA) has been a part of the Central Florida community as its only Montessori school providing full dual language immersion in the classroom. "We are excited to embark on this new journey as we present ourselves to the community in the light which they have helped create. We are looking forward to serving our community through the children we teach." - Lucelis Torres.
OMBA's mission is to contribute to the creation of the whole child by providing a rich, dual language environment in which a child can grow physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually. By making the classroom into a house full of children we meet the child at their stage of learning, engage them with a classroom created to meet their needs, guide them through their sensitive periods and watch as they consistently demonstrate high levels of academic achievement as well as confidence, compassion, multicultural understanding and independence.
"If any child were to go to any school, I would suggest this school. I attended OMBA when I was a child and it has not only taught me about academics on a higher level, but it also taught me morals that I could not have gotten anywhere else." - Miguel
"I LOVE this school. My daughter attended as a child and is now 16. She is taking all honors and AP classes and doing amazing with her foreign languages. She talks about Orlando Montessori Bilingual Academy and how it has made Spanish so easy now she is in high school. Neither her dad nor I had any background speaking Spanish. Everything she learned began at your school." - Susan A.
Orlando Montessori Bilingual Academy, Inc.
Rooted in the love of learning and raising her own children in a dual language environment, Ms. Torres founded a school that would enrich not just the lives of her own two daughters but of countless children that have stepped through the school's door. With full dual language immersion in the classroom, OMBA's exposure to a second language provides the building blocks to greater understanding of other cultures and communities. With more flexibility in thinking, greater sensitivity to language and a better ear for listening, Orlando Montessori Bilingual Academy aims to provide a greater depth and richness to the life experiences of the children they teach.
