Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) August 04, 2012 - The Monterey County Fair is pleased to announce its outstanding line-up of special concert entertainment each night at 7:30 PM on the Payton Stage during the Fair. These concerts are all free with Fair admission! The concert series includes the following nationally known talented performers:

Jerrod Niemann will perform on Opening Day, Wednesday, August 29th

Foghat will perform on Seniors' Day, Thursday, August 30th

Fan Halen (A Van Halen Tribute Band) will perform on Friday, August 31st

Chris Gardner Band will perform on Saturday, September 1st

Mobility will perform two shows on Labor Day, Monday, September 3rd at both 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM on the Payton Garden Stage.

Also, the fun continues at the After Party at the Hunt Club (Turf Club
Patio) with the band, Left of Centre. It's the perfect place to relax, drink and dance. The After Party at the Hunt Club is also free with Fair admission:

Jerrod Niemann

Foghat

The British rock quartet, Foghat, settled in New York in the early 1970's, and began their domination of album rock radio and concert venues throughout the states. The one and only Foghat continues to be one of the most recognizable bands touring today. Hits include "Slow Ride," "Fool for the City," "Mumbo Jumbo," "I Just Want To Make Love To You," and "Drivin' Wheel."

It all began in the late 1960's Roger Earl & Lonesome Dave Peverett first toured America as members of the seminal British band "Savoy Brown". Together with guitarist Kim Simmonds, "Savoy Brown" was on the cutting edge of the emerging British blues-rock scene, and they influenced countless musicians on both sides of the "pond". In 1971, wanting to give a more Rock 'n Roll flavor to the blues-boogie music they were playing with "Savoy", Dave & Roger enlisted lead/slide guitarist Rod Price & bassist Tony Stevens, formed a new band, "Foghat", and the rest is part of Rock and Roll history. Foghat has never stopped touring and recording. The 2010 version of Foghat comprised of Roger Earl, Craig MacGregor, Charlie Huhn, and Bryan Bassett has been together for 10 years since the passing of Lonesome Dave. Mobility

Mobility is an upbeat group of talented musicians bringing you rock, country, and pop favorites, old and new. As a subdivision of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Mobility travels the West Coast bringing civilians and military personnel entertainment and American pride through music. Mobility consists of Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboard, and Vocals -- a perfect combination to bring people to their feet with a smile.

Mobility continues its long tradition of providing as wide-ranging a musical format as possible to meet the desires of its listeners. Its tailored, fast-paced variety shows are presented at events ranging from official military functions, to community relations concerts, fairs and public school concerts throughout the Western United States This small ensemble's versatility is unmatched. The group's unique blend of music also includes patriotic selections for special occasions.

Left of Centre is based in Reno, Nevada.
