- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) January 30, 2015 - Committed to academic excellence in early childhood education, the prestigious Montclare Children's School (www.montclareschool.org) announces the launch of a website blog to discuss and share information about toddlers and preschool education.
"Our school was founded and operates with an approach and curriculum that provides all of the essential skills children will need in preparing for further education" states Montclare School Director, Whendy Carter, M.S., Ed. "An early childhood, preschool education at Montclare establishes a solid foundation for any ongoing school experience".
Located at 747 Amsterdam Avenue in New York City, the school resides in a landmark building on Manhattan's Upper West Side with indoor gyms and a rooftop play-space. The school provides an enriched early childhood program with a curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth. The teacher-guided preschool curriculum offers programs that include Art, Yoga, Movement, Music, Library, Free Play, Circle Time and Snack. Montclare School is one of the few to introduce technology to their two year olds. At Montclare, we believe that by gently introducing technology to two-year-olds, in a way that is appropriate to their age, we can ensure that the child's first encounter with technology is positive and instructive. All apps and software used are age appropriate and interactive.
"My two boys attended Montclare," states one satisfied parent on the school's Google plus page. "You couldn't find two children more different from one another, but they both emerged from Montclare as confident, independent thinkers ready to face Kindergarten. They both attend the Lycee Francais de NY where they are thriving and happy. I highly recommend Montclare's curriculum and their teachers are wonderful."
Topics discussed on the school's online blog include in depth interviews with teachers abut our programs about their educational approach and methodology. There are also discussions on art, music, separation anxiety and much more.
