Located at 747 Amsterdam Avenue in New York City, the school resides in a landmark building on Manhattan's Upper West Side with indoor gyms and a rooftop play-space. During the summer camp, all of the school's facilities are available and accessible to the children attending camp. The camp program also includes many exciting ventures including ones that involve visiting many exciting New York City landmarks, neighborhoods and attractions.
This year the overarching camp theme is The Mighty Jungle! Children will participate in exciting related activities including a Safari Sensory Room, Jungle-Themed Arts & Crafts, Jungle Animal Songs and Stories and much more. The camp curriculum is developed for children ages 2-4 and includes activities such as Tennis, Soccer, Swimming, Arts and Crafts and much more. The school's engaging rooftop playground is one of the busiest areas of the school during camp as kids LOVE hanging out and playing together in this outdoor space. Additional activities to be offered include: Sand and Water Play, Free Play, Music and Movement, Gym and Roof Time and fun and exciting field trips each week!
Montclare Summer camp 15 will run from June 22nd, 2015 through July 31st, 2015. Early drop-off is also available for families that may need to drop off their young children prior to the official beginning time of the camp program. Staff members are available to answer any questions related to the 2015 Summer camp program, or any other aspect of the preschool, it's faculty, staff and/or programs.
