To compliment their state-of-the-art brick and mortar 12,000-ft shop and showroom, Mountaina Cycling and Ski has announced the debut of its newly designed website: http://www.montanacycling.com/. The new site hopes to appeal to local and out-of-state shoppers with richer content, featured products and advice, community events, cycling tips and links, videos and special promotions.
"Montana Cycling and Ski is quickly becoming the premier bicycle and ski retail and service destination in Montana," explains Managing Director Dan Austin. Located at the corner of Shiloh Rd. and King Avenue in Billings, the built-green facility opened its doors in May 2010 and already it is carving out an impressive share of the market, claims Austin.
"A prominent web presence is an integral part of the overall plan," said Austin. "The site is already quite robust but we are planning a number of additional enhancements over the months to come."
The website currently has over 100 different bike models featured. There is descriptive content about all of the different lines the store carries so visitors can do their research and comparisons before coming to the store for a test ride.
Over time more items including accessories, clothing and ski and snowboard gear and products will be added. Coming soon will be a virtual tour of the store, and more in-depth information about local rides and events.
Part of the Montana Cycling and Ski mission is to be engaged and involved in the community in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. A 1,200 sq ft community center was included in the store and is available for group events and meetings from non-profits and cycling clubs, to educational public multimedia presentations, all of which will be announced on its website.
While promoting its own "cruiser club" rides and other sponsored outings, the store and website will also keep riders informed on special local and statewide events such as Peaks to Prairie, Big Sky State Games, Dash for Dog Parks, the Bike MS Ride and the 2010 Park-2-Park Montana Ride.

Bicycles for Humanity (B4H), serves as a nonprofit organization that empowers people to improve their quality of life through donated bicycles.
