Mohammad Mobasseri Joins EMT Distribution as its CEO
As EMT Distribution's new CEO, Mohammad Mobasseri will manage and grow the company's business across West Asia, Middle East and Africa.
- (1888PressRelease) October 08, 2013 - EMT Distribution, the leading international value added distribution company today announced that it has appointed Mohammad Mobasseri as its CEO. In his new role, Mobasseri will manage and grow the company's business across West Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Mobasseri also joins EMT Distribution as a board member and shareholder of the group's holding company EMT Holdings, after decades of experience in the regional value added distribution arena.
Mobasseri is a seasoned business leader with a strong track record in the regional IT and value added distribution industry. As the new CEO of EMT Distribution, Mobasseri will be responsible for strategic planning, investments, growth areas, geographical expansion, and vendor management for the global operations.
Prior to joining EMT Distribution, Mobasseri headed the regional operations at a major regional value added distributor. "I am thrilled to be joining EMT Distribution. The regional IT industry is at a turning point and my objectives are to develop into new areas of growth, to further enhance the customer experience and service offerings to the regional market, and to strengthen relationships with all other stakeholders," added Mobasseri. "Our key channel strategies will be to recruit channel partners during the rest of 2013. In addition, I will be working closely with our partners to enhance our partner program so we are able to satisfy our partners and serve them in the best possible way."
According to Mobasseri, in regards to marketing, EMT Distribution is focusing on its product branding, and in doing this, the company wants to make sure it generate enough demand for its partners. "We would like to help and be by the side of our partners and end users to make sure we accomplish projects as fast and as qualified as possible," added Mobasseri. "We have discussed with best of the breed technology vendors and we are almost in final stages of finalising a couple of them. These vendors are into the field of encryption, security and other related IT and IT security area."
