Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) February 11, 2016 - Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina in Newport Beach, Calif. will open its popular Moe B. Dunes Aquatic Park and launch Movies-on-the-Beach, both of which run from Memorial Day (late May) to Labor Day (early September). The summer's highlight is the Dunes' 4th of July celebration including a massive fireworks presentation, live music and family fun, announced the resort's Vice President and General Manager Andrew Theodorou.

The highly popular Moe B. Dunes Aquatic Park features colorful inflatables including giant icebergs, water trampolines, rock climbing walls and even a massive teeter-totter ($25 for 2-hour pass). New this year is Moe B's Radiant Ride, where nighttime watersports-oriented fun and games are organized Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. starting Memorial weekend. Cost is $30 per person and includes a glow accessory, any non-motorized rental, and an all-glow life vest.

Available for rent are paddleboats, surrey bikes, electric boats, hydrobikes, catamarans and stand-up paddleboards. Private beachside cabanas also may be rented, but must be reserved in advance by calling (949) 999-3180.

Also, on Friday & Saturday evenings free Movies-on-the-Beach are projected on an enormous screen. Families are encouraged to bring towels, beach chairs and other comforts for snuggling up to watch popular feature films shown right on the sand.

The Dunes also has announced that they will, again, partner with the City of Newport Beach to produce the region's most dynamic and fun-filled 4th of July celebration.
