The Model 4546 enables access to two devices per each of its four channels. All ports of channels one and two utilize 12-pin Phoenix connectors labeled A, B and COM. All ports of channels three and four utilize 10-pin Phoenix connectors labeled A, B and COM. All four channels switch simultaneously.
Each of the four channels of the Model 4546 allows quick connection to any one of two devices from one COMMON device. The switch is manually operated via a front-panel rotary switch. There is no external power required to operate this switch. All pins of the Phoenix interface are switched.
The Model 4546 is a meticulously manufactured switch incorporating a high-quality sealed switch with self-wiping low impedance contacts. The Model 4546 is transparent to data speed and format.
