- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) September 13, 2012 - Lyrix, Inc. a leading provider of enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) to small and medium businesses (SMB) and Fortune 50 companies worldwide, today announced the availability of Mobiso, a Cloud-based Unified Speech Assistant on Broadsoft's Marketplace.
BroadSoft® (NASDAQ: BSFT) is the leading global provider of software that enables mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to deliver real-time communications over their IP networks. The firm's BroadWorks platform delivers a broad range of unified communications services including video, voice, hosted call center, conferencing, messaging and mobility, for businesses and consumers worldwide.
Mobiso's Speech Assistant gives users the ability to reach employees quickly and effortlessly from their corporate directory and personal contacts without the frustration of traditional "dial-by-name" lookup. This numberless, hands-free experience has the ability for users to say a string of names to launch an ad-hoc conference using Broadwork's Meet-Me Conferencing. In addition, Mobiso enables voice control of BroadWorks Anywhere, a comprehensive suite of fixed mobile convergence (FMC) features that can be set verbally by the user (e.g. "Send my calls to my mobile") in order to synchronize directories, authentication and "spoken name" responses, Lyrix has developed automated provisioning to the BroadWorks platform.
The Broadsoft Marketplace offers a unique opportunity for Broadsoft Service Providers to sell new applications that differentiate their hosted offerings as well as delivers new revenue streams. Broadsoft partners can offer their end users powerful applications, like Mobiso's Speech Assistant to enhance their business phone service either through their own branded store or through the Broadsoft Global store.
"A speech attendant from the cloud relieves the service provider and its customers from the legacy issues associated with deploying speech successfully, including the cost of specialized hardware and software, required speech expertise, and the need to ensure accuracy to the end-user", stated Deb Brown, Global Sales and Marketing Manager for Lyrix. "Organizations that use Mobiso can experience the benefits of a high-quality, low cost unified speech assistant and escape the need to spell the first or last name of an individual they are attempting to reach."
