Taking the overall well-being into account, Meylah shared the Ignite Washington SMB digital-readiness blueprint at MWC with cities and industry associations to ensure they can adopt turnkey solutions for their small businesses through digital transformation. Ignite Washington looks to help small businesses (SMBs) increase their digital equity by starting with both a macro and micro assessment to properly understand what needs to be done. In Barcelona, it was these digital solution-driven discussions and the knowledge provided by the Choose Washington delegation leaders that resulted in a successful event.

Mark Calhoon, Sr. Managing Director at the Washington State Department of Commerce, has worked with the Commerce department since the 1990s and has seen the transformation himself.
