MJ93Fund, Selma Walton Theater, and Sony Pictures Partner for Advance Screening of "Pirates! Band of Misfits" Following the 3rd Annual Michael "MJ" Johnson Youth Football and Cheer Camp.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) April 18, 2012 - MJ93Fund, non-profit of Cincinnati Bengals star Michael "MJ" Johnson, has announced the addition of an exclusive pre-release Red Carpet Screening of the movie "The Pirates! Band Of Misfits" to the line up of their 3rd Annual Youth Sports and Cheer Camp. The kids-only screening is in partnership with Sony Pictures and local landmark, the Selma Walton Theater and will take place at 7 pm on Saturday April 21st at 1000 Selma Avenue Selma, Alabama 36701 following the conclusion of camp activities. Camp participants will join a host of NFL Stars, special guests and local dignitaries for a fun-filled evening of animated feature film.

Serving over 300 children annually, The Michael Johnson Youth football and Cheer camp rallies football superstars to spearhead a series of athletic events and fundraising initiatives aimed at assisting attendees in creating a future vision for success. Growing in magnitude with each passing year special 2012 add-ons include the Red Carpet Advance Screening as well as a half time performance and Friday's Roast and Silent Auction commemorating the outstanding athletic efforts and community contributions of Michael Johnson himself. Ticket and proceed sales from the auction will benefit the programs and initiatives of the MJ93Fund.
MJ founded the organization during his rookie year as a means to culminate his passion for both football and philanthropy. Under the tagline "See it First: Vision for Success" MJ93Fund aims to reinforce the support of children in their journey to achieve their destined greatness by funding programs and camps that motivate, inspire and generate exposure for scholarships and post-graduate education.
