Minnesota United FC to Appear March 16 at Blaine Home Improvement & Design Expo
Under new ownership, the NEW Minnesota United FC will join the Home Improvement and Design Expo at the National Sports Center in Blaine on Saturday, March 16th. This is a one day event hosted at one of the largest soccer facilities in the Midwest.
- Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN-WI (1888PressRelease) March 08, 2013 - Minnesota United FC, Minnesota's newly-renamed professional soccer team, will appear at the eighth annual Home Improvement & Design Expo to be held at the National Sports Center in Blaine, on March 16. The team, whose regular season begins April 6 at the Metrodome, will also hold a kids' soccer clinic.
The Expo, which runs from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16th, will also showcase nearly 150 exhibitors, including architects, builders and designers. Participants can also get information about spas and decks, green building products, and advice on landscaping, kitchens and baths.
Scott Monserud will offer tips to help homeowners restore their homes after the fire. A certified fire restorationist, he is one of the primary speakers at the Expo.
Other presenters include Matt Ariola, Matt's Plumbing Solutions, who will talk about how to save water and money; Richard Bandimere, Keller Williams Realty, Coon Rapids, speaking about today's real estate market; and Peter Thaldorf, Minnesota College Funding Strategies, who will share how to afford home improvement projects and college tuition at the same time. Ned "The Horse Farmer" Newman will conduct a live radio interview Darren Vigil of Healthy Exposure Construction from the Expo; it will broadcast on KYMN-Radio.
Adult admission is $6. Children 17 and under admitted free with an adult. The first 50 persons through the door will receive a free goody bag. The National Sports Center is located at 1700-105th Ave. N.E., Blaine.
