Ministry Of Tomorrow Announces Premier Woman's Collection
The Ministry of Tomorrow (MOT) announces the debut of its Premier Woman's Collection, an Eco-chic line of basic woman's dresses and tops.
- (1888PressRelease) June 17, 2014 - SAN FRANCISCO, CA - The Ministry of Tomorrow (MOT), the San Francisco based social enterprise that designs, produces and markets high-end handcrafted apparel under the MOT label, has partnered with world renowned conservation company Wildlife Works to manufacture the new collection at its fair wage Eco-factory near Rukinga, an 80,000 acre wildlife sanctuary situated between Kenya's two largest national parks, Tsavo East and Tsavo West.
MOT Founder Julian Prolman elaborates, "We chose to partner with Wildlife Works to support their righteous mission. They have been producing garments under the highest social and environmental standards for a long time, making them a perfect fit with our own social and environmental production requirements, and our aim to support positive change."
MOT's Premier Woman's Collection is made from 100% Certified Organic and Fair Trade cotton sourced from Rajlakshmi Mills in Kolkata, India, which buys its cotton from the Chetna Organic Farmers Association, a collective of more than 6,000 organic cotton farmers.
"Our products are produced with respect for the earth and humankind. This way, the farmers growing the cotton are paid a fair price for their crop, are not exposed to harmful pesticides, and the organic farming methods do not contaminate the earth. We closely examine the supply chain at each step and amp up the goodness associated with the raw materials that go into our products. Responsible commerce is our way of doing business," says Prolman.
MOT's apparel lines and accessories are available exclusively online at www.ministryoftomorrow.com.
