Minister of Communications for Iraq Confirmed as Opening Keynote Speaker at Iraq Telecoms 2012

Mohammed Tawfik Allawi, The Minister of Communications for the Iraqi Government will present the opening keynote address at Iraq Telecoms 2012, taking place on 12- 14 November in Istanbul, Turkey. He will discuss the role of the Iraqi telecommunications industry as a key driver for economic growth, and will provide an overview of the current status of the telecoms sector in Iraq.
In its seventh year, Iraq Telecoms is an internationally renowned conference and brings together over 300 government officials and leaders of telecoms operators and service providers from around the globe meet to discuss current issues and opportunities across the Iraqi telecommunication value chain. The conference is popular for its networking prospects and this year will once again offer delegates important opportunities to meet new and existing investors and suppliers throughout the two days including; coffee breaks, corporate lunches and networking evening functions.
