- (1888PressRelease) October 09, 2010 - DAILY RFID has released its new UHF Gen 2 tag-05, which is specially designed for industrial applications. This latest UHF tag is small size, low price and has good reading distance on the metal.
Encapsulated within highly resistant material, the compact UHF Gen 2 tag can be inserted directly on or into parts and other devices to build a permanent and robust tagging system. Compiling with ISO standard 18000-6C (EPC Gen2) protocol, its unique construction enables the UHF Gen 2 tag to perform well in rough and harsh environments, such as dipping in water, acid and on metal surface.
Typically around 79.5 mm by 15 mm in size, the small Gen 2 RFID tag is a perfect choice in applications which require tags to offer good reading distance. It can offer long range up to 3.5 meters. And its memory can be customized to store information.
